ŠKODA Tour de Conamara (‘the Event’) is open to cyclists of 18 years of age and over. Each entrant must register for the event through the online booking system. Once you have entered no refunds or credits can be offered for cancellations or for no shows for the event.
Each entrant must register for the event through the online booking system. If you are registering for the event as a member of Cycling Ireland you must hold a valid Cycling Ireland licence on the day of the event. Cycling Ireland membership will be validated at the time of registration for the event through Eventmaster.
Once you have entered for the Event no refunds or credits can be offered for cancellations or no shows for the event. All fees and associated costs, paid in registration for the Tour de Conamara are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to injury and /or scheduling conflicts.
Transfers are accommodated up to teh 1st May before the event. Transfers must be conducted through the event registration system. If cyclists transfer places without processing through the event they are deemed invalid and the cyclist will not be permitted to take part in the event.
Tour de Conamara (‘the Event’) is not a closed road event. It is essential that all cyclists adhere to the rules of the road as there will be some level of traffic on the route. While we take care to make the Event as safe as possible, we cannot remove risks and dangers to participants and observers and, accordingly, you participate or observe at your own risk. It is requested that all cyclists ride in single file where appropriate and no more than 2 abreast at any time.
You are entering the event entirely at your own risk and you must ensure that you are physically capable of completing the event. If you are taking up a new exercise routine please consult your GP in advance of the event.
Cyclists must understand that the ŠKODA Tour de Conamara (‘the Event’) will involve prolonged strenuous activity and that you need to achieve an appropriate level of fitness in order to participate. Before the start of the Event, if you have any concerns whatsoever about your physical fitness or health, or any medical conditions that may affect your safe participation, you must consult your Doctor.
By registering for the ŠKODA Tour de Conamara you are declaring you are physically fit to take part and I hereby assume all the risks of participating in the Event.
By registering participants acknowledge that they take part in the Event and all functions and events related thereto entirely at their own risk.
By registering participants agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations and FAQ/Guidelines, which I understand, may change from time to time and be posted on the event web site or social media managed by the event.
By registering for ŠKODA Tour de Conamara I understand and agree that I participate in this event entirely at my own risk, that I must rely on my own ability in dealing with all hazards and that I must ride in a manner which is safe for myself and all others. I am aware that when riding on public roads the function of the marshals is only to indicate direction and that I must decide whether the movement is safe. I agree that no liability what so ever shall attach to the Event Promoter, individuals associated with the Event Promoting Company, Promoting Club, ŠKODA, other events Sponsors, Cycling Ireland, any Sub-Committee of Cycling Ireland, any event Official or any Member of the Promoting Club in respect of injury, loss or damage suffered by me in or by reason of the event, however caused.

Please be aware of other cyclists and traffic. You are responsible for your own safety on the road – No Helmet, No Cycle.
Cyclists must ensure that their bicycle is road worthy and that their brakes are in good working order. There is limited provision for on course technical support.
The event operates under a strict Leave No Trace policy. Please bring your litter home with you.
