The ŠKODA Tour de Conamara is currently scheduled for Saturday 29th May 2021 starting and finishing in Clifden, Connemara. This is subject to public health guidance on the hosting of mass participation events.
The event offers participants the choice of 140km or 80km routes (view routes) and will travel through some of the finest coastal, lakelands, valleys and mountainous landscape in Ireland.
We are now waiting on public health guidance to see what way events can be run in 2021. We will then advise you when we have a clearer picture of when and how events can be organised for the maximum safety and enjoyment of participants. As things stand we are continuing to plan for the date of Saturday May 29th 2021.
As soon we have any indication on the guidelines for public events, we will announce our final plans. If there is continued uncertainty around public health guidelines, we will take the decisions we believe are in the best interest of cyclists, the host area and the team involved in delivering the event.
